Bob Butler has more than twenty-five years in virtually every leadership position in high-tech innovation from startups to global companies. These include building and successfully exiting his own startup, nurturing startups in his accelerator, venture investing, and driving strategy for numerous acquisitions for a major innovation initiative at a large global company. Bob is the founder and CEO of Best Thinking, Inc., dedicated to commercializing innovation with over 1,100 expert contributors. He was a COO and GM for Law Practice Management at the LexisNexis Group of Reed Elsevier, one of the world’s largest online publishers of scientific, medical, legal, and business journals and websites. He was also the founder and CEO of Time Matters Software, one of the most widely used information and document management systems in the U.S. legal market. Bob has testified before Congress on alternative energy, participated in White House Roosevelt Room meetings with the Vice President on economic development, and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal on Internet taxation. He holds two patents in alternative energy, a commercial pilots license – multiengine instrument, and is an Ironman Certified Coach, currently coaching a national champion. Bob holds a BS in Economics from the University of Minnesota with undergraduate and graduate work focusing on Econometrics.

Scott Russell has more than 30 years of private equity, technology operating and international experience, successfully helping to raise seven venture funds and investing over $2.5B in technology startups. He co-founded SOFTBANK Technology Ventures (aka Mobius). As general partner and managing director, he invested in more than 40 software, financial services and Internet companies. In addition, Scott helped co-found, along with several other prominent alumni, Carnegie-Mellon University‘s (CMU) Silicon Valley campus. The campus offers PhD and master degrees in software engineering. Scott is an adjunct professor, teaching and mentoring engineers on how to commercialize their intellectual property. Scott has an MBA from the London School of Economics and a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.

Brian Frenzel is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, board member, and private investor with extensive experience in founding and financing new companies and improving performance of existing companies. Currently, Brian is President, CEO and Director of Tosk, Inc. an oncology pharmaceutical discovery and development company and a member of the Board of Directors of SanBio, Inc. a cell therapy company focusing on discovering and developing new drugs for neurodegenerative diseases. Previously, Brian was CEO at Centaur Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Renovis, NASDAQ:RNVS), CEO at Vesta Medical (acquired by Pfizer, NYSE:PFE), CEO at Adeza Biomedical (NASDAQ:ADZA, acquired by Cytyc, NASDAQ:CYTC), co-founder and COO/CFO of Genelabs Technologies (NASDAQ:GNLB). Since 1998, Brian has been the Co-Chairman of the Membership Committee for the Band of Angels, a 150-member Silicon Valley angel investment organization. Brian has an MBA in Finance and Marketing and a BS in Physics and Chemistry both from Stanford University.

Donald Holdsworth is founder and managing director of Matchpower Consulting, based Sydney providing management consulting services in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the U.S. Donald was Partner and senior advisor for McKinsey & Co., serving clients in retailing, consumer goods manufacturing and financial services. He was SVP of Worldwide Marketing for Merck, Executive Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers, and VP Marketing at PepsiCo. He teaches new product management and strategic marketing in the Graduate School of Business at the University of Technology, Sydney. Donald graduated with honors from Cambridge University with a MA in Engineering.
